The Official Hotel and the venue for SERVSIG RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2005 is the Grand Copthorne Hotel, Singapore.
Situated on the banks of the historic Singapore River, the island city’s 5-star combination business and lifestyle hotel is within easy access of the shopping and entertainment areas of Chinatown and Orchard Road, and minutes away from the central business district.
With 538 rooms including four levels of Executive Club Rooms and Suites, each guestroom is appointed with modern amenities, broadband Internet access, a selection of cable channels and pay-movies, in-room personal safe, IDD service, computer and facsimile data ports, hair-dryer, coffee and tea making facilities. Room categories include Superior, Deluxe, Executive Club, Suites and a Presidential Suite with more than 60% of the rooms designated for non-smoking guests. Payment Details
- Payment for hotel accommodation can only be made via credit card. Please note that the merchant name reflected on your credit card bill will be: “Integrated Meetings Specialist Pte Ltd”
- A 4% bank-charge will be imposed on all credit card transactions.
- A one-night deposit (equivalent to the hotel room rate that you have booked) would be charged to your credit card. The payment of the remaining room nights is to be made upon check-out.
- Reservations will only be confirmed upon payment. RECEIPT OF THE ONE-NIGHT DEPOSIT PAYMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE CONFIRMATION OF RESERVATION. Your reservation will be subjected to the availability of room(s) at the selected hotel. Confirmation of your booking would be sent to your via email within one week of your reservation.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing and received by the secretariat on or before 1 May 2005.
- Refunds, if any, will be made after the conference and is subjected to an administration fee of SGD 50.00.
- An administrative fee of SGD 50.00 would be charged for each amendment of check-in/ check-out dates made after confirmation of reservation.
- Any other refunds will be made at the sole discretion of the organizer.
NOTE:
Neither the organizer nor its employees or its appointed PCO shall be liable in Singapore or elsewhere to the registered participant in contract, tort or otherwise except as expressly stated in the hotel booking form.
Riverview Hotel
On the banks of the Historical Singapore River, near Chinatown and only minutes’ away from the Central Business District and Orchard Road Shopping Area, 10 minutes’ drive to World Trade Centre & Suntec City, 20 minutes’ drive to Changi International Airport. Complimentary shuttle service to Chinatown, Orchard Road and Suntec City is available. All rooms are newly-renovated.

Chinatown Hotel
Chinatown Hotel is part of Singapore’s conservation plans to preserve the old world charms amid the rapid changing skyline in our modern city. Enjoy the well preserved facade of structures that is typical of old Chinatown from the exterior and come into a contemporary setting in this four-storey building serviced by a modern elevator.
The hotel boasts of 42 well appointed rooms, dorned in pastel hues of peach and mauve. Each fully air-conditioned room is brightly lit and equipped with the latest IDD telephone system. For leisure viewing, the in-house movie system offers a range of movies, old and new. Each cosily refurbished room comes with an attached bathroom and guests can enjoy full housekeeping and laundry services. Budget Hostel
Prince George’s Park Residences
The Prince George’s Park Residences (PGPR) Hostel is situated at the campus of the National University of Singapore. At the hostel, there are also provision shops and other amenities that will make your stay enjoyable and convenient.
All rooms come with a ceiling fan, a towel rack, and a pin-up board. Each of the six Residences is served by common facilities such as air-conditioned lounges, TV rooms, music rooms, meeting rooms, reading rooms, and project rooms to provide ample study and meeting areas for group interaction. A large laundry room equipped with coin-operated washing machines and spin-dryers is also located in each Residence.
All listed rooms are for SINGLE occupancy, without breakfast. The room rates listed are nett rates but do not include the 4% bank charge for credit card payment.
Please note that payment for hostel room bookings must be made in full prior to check-in and is non-refundable.

Residents share a common kitchen with 14 other neighbours within the cluster. A typical Type A room has a floor area of approximately 13.0 square metres.
Type B Room
